A Lethal Luau
The Mystery - Aloha and welcome to Hawaii. The sun is setting on the beautiful beaches and friends of Private Eye, Chase Diamond, have gathered at a luau to celebrate his birthday. The impomptu party quickly turns into a woeful wake when Chase is poisoned by one of his guests. Was it friend or foe? Everyone is a suspect and it is up to you to find out who the culprit is. Night Out On Crime
The National Night Out on Crime is designed to strengthen neighborhood spirit along with police partnership and to send a message to criminals that they are not welcome in our community. We are inviting our friends and neighbors to join us this afternoon at 1:30 pm to meet our local police officers and to get some tips on keeping our neighborhood safe. Then at 6:30 pm, The Firs will host a hot dog feed along with music by the Black Hills Pickin' Party, an all string instrumental band that will keep us entertained with their unique brand of music. Hot August Nights
Poodle skirts and bobby socks are all the rage at our annual 50's themed party. Local car clubs will have their vintage cars on display in our lower parking lot. The Grays Harbor Banjo Band will be here to get your toes tapping and your hands clapping! It will be a Hot August night to remember.
Wartime Veterans Seminar
We welcome back The American Association for Wartime Veterans to discuss the Aid and Attendance Benefit. This benefit is specifically for wartime veterans and surving spouses of deceased wartime veterans. Veterans who are eligible may qualify for up tp $1,644 monthly and surving spouses up to $1,056 monthly. During the seminar you will learn about the benefits and the application process, learn how to become eligible even if you exceed the limits and find out what benefits you may be entitled to for residing at an assisted living community.
